ABOUT ALEXANDRIA

Based in New Orleans, Alexandria has been performing since she could walk. Her training began in dance at the age of three before working professionally onstage at the age of ten.

While studying under Dr. Arthur Feinsod at Indiana State University, she had the opportunity to train in movement, mask-acting, and Shakespeare before receiving an MFA in Theater Performance from the University of New Orleans.

Alexandria has immersed herself in devised work (Redux, Gallatin Street), world premieres (The Cuck, Popular Monsters) and classic texts including Romeo & Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Moliere's Imaginary Invalid.​​​

A firm believer in the power of performance, Alexandria understands the importance of fostering representation in her work. It is her goal to alter the perceptions of race in casting, provide visibility for the unseen, and continue telling stories of the unheard.
