ABOUT ALEXANDRIA

Based in New Orleans, Alexandria has been performing since she could walk. Her training began in dance at the age of three before working professionally onstage at the age of ten.

While studying under Dr. Arthur Feinsod at Indiana State University, she had the opportunity to train in movement, mask-acting, and Shakespeare before receiving an MFA in Theatre Performance from the University of New Orleans.

Alexandria has to immerse herself in devised work (Redux), world premieres (The Cuck, Popular Monsters) and classic texts including Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet and A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Moliere's Imaginary Invalid.

A firm believer in the power of performance, Alexandria understands the importance of fostering representation in her work. It is her goal alter the perceptions of race in casting and continue telling the stories of the unheard and providing equity for the unseen.
